UFORIQ Driver App Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 3, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how UFORIQ ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses personal information through the UFORIQ Driver app for iPhone, iPad and Android (the "App"). The App is for our delivery drivers and for our staff, such as dispatchers, customer support and admins. It works with our staff web dashboard and with the page customers use to track a delivery (together with the App, the "Services"). In this policy, "you" means a driver or staff member who uses the App. One section also explains what happens to information about the customers whose orders you deliver.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you have questions, contact us using the details at the end.

Who We Are

UFORIQ is the trade name of two Texas companies that work together:

  • Uforiq LBK, LLC develops and runs the App, runs our local delivery operations, and is responsible for the information the App collects. Our drivers are independent contractors who deliver for Uforiq LBK, LLC.
  • UFORIQ HUB LLC runs uforiqdelivery.com and sells the orders our drivers deliver.

In this policy, "UFORIQ", "we", "us" and "our" mean Uforiq LBK, LLC, and UFORIQ HUB LLC where it receives information as described below. The two companies share information so that orders can be prepared, delivered and supported.

Our dispatchers, customer support staff and admins also work for Uforiq LBK, LLC.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when the App changes or for legal reasons. We will post the new version at https://uforiqdelivery.com/pages/driver-app-privacy and update the "Last updated" date. We may also tell you about important changes in an announcement in the App.

How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information

To run deliveries, we collect personal information about you from the sources below. What we collect depends on your role and on the features you use.

Besides the uses described below, we may use your information to communicate with you, run and improve the Services, keep them secure, comply with the law, and protect our rights and the rights of others.

What Personal Information We Collect

"Personal information" means information that identifies, relates to, describes or can be associated with you. The sections below list what we collect and where it comes from.

Information We Collect Directly from You

  • Your location while you are on a shift (see "Location" below).
  • Your delivery actions and when you take them: starting and ending a shift, claiming or accepting an order, picking it up, checking an ID, delivering it, or marking it failed.
  • What you type, such as the reason a delivery failed.
  • Messages you send: order chats with customers, chats with UFORIQ staff, and reports of messages.
  • Calls you start with the Call button. We keep a call log, not a recording.
  • Pay requests you make, such as setting up payouts with Stripe or cashing out.
  • For staff: the actions you take, such as marking orders ready, assigning orders, sending messages and announcements, giving bonuses, and deciding on failed deliveries, refunds and payouts.

Information We Collect about Your Device and Use

When you sign in, the App registers your phone with us. We record the platform (iOS or Android), the phone model (for example "iPhone 15"), a device ID we create, the push notification token Apple or Google gives your phone, and when the device was last used. Our servers briefly use your IP address to block repeated wrong sign-in codes. That record is deleted after about a day. Our hosting provider also processes your IP address to deliver the Services.

Information We Obtain from Others

  • Our admins: your name, your phone number and email address if they add them, and your roles and stores. Admins create your account and give you a one-time sign-in code.
  • The online stores we deliver for, through Shopify: the orders you deliver, including customer details (see "Information About Customers in the App").
  • Stripe, once payouts are on: whether your Stripe account is ready, what Stripe still needs, the name and last 4 digits of your bank account or debit card, and the status of your payouts and cash-outs.
  • Twilio, our phone provider: the result and length of calls connected through our store numbers.

Information the App Collects

This section describes the App specifically. It matches the privacy details on the App's App Store page. We do not use information from the App to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies. The App does not use Apple's advertising identifier and never asks for permission to track you.

Information linked to you:

  • Precise location: while you are on a shift, and where you checked a customer's ID.
  • Name: set by our admins. Customers see only your first name.
  • Phone number: added by our admins. We use it to contact you about your work and to connect calls through the store's number. Only admins see it.
  • Messages: your order chats, your chats with UFORIQ staff, and the announcements you read.
  • Other content you type: failure details, reasons and reports.
  • Identifiers: your account ID, a device ID and your push token.
  • App activity: your shifts, the delivery steps you take and when you take them.
  • Financial information: your earnings, tips, bonuses, payouts and cash-outs, and the name and last 4 digits of your bank account or debit card.
  • Other data: the results of the customer ID checks you do, and your phone model.

What stays on your device:

  • Your sign-in keys, in your phone's secure storage. They are removed when you sign out.
  • Your profile and current shift, so the App starts quickly. They are removed when you sign out.
  • Location points waiting to be sent while you are offline (up to about 1,500). They are deleted once sent, or when your shift ends or you sign out.
  • Your settings, such as your navigation app and default store. They stay until you delete the App.
  • If an admin shares a pay report from an iPhone, a copy of the file is saved in the App's temporary storage for the share sheet.

What the App does not collect. The App does not access your contacts, photo library, microphone, or health or fitness data. It never saves a photo. It does not include an advertising, analytics or crash reporting service. On Android, the Google ML Kit code that reads IDs on your phone may send Google basic diagnostic data, such as the phone model, the App version, and error and performance information. It does not send ID text or pictures. If you choose to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone settings, Apple may share crash reports with us.

Location

  • The App uses your location only while you are on a shift. If you allow "Always" (iPhone) or "Allow all the time" (Android), it keeps sharing when the App is closed or the screen is off. On Android a notification shows while sharing is on.
  • Before your phone asks for permission, the App explains what it shares. You can start a shift without location. The store then cannot see where you are.
  • On a shift, the App records a precise location as often as every 20 seconds, or each time you move about 40 meters (130 feet).
  • Sharing stops when you end your shift or sign out. The App does not send points taken off a shift, and our servers refuse them.
  • Staff at your store (dispatchers, customer support and admins) see your latest location on a live map while you are on a shift.
  • The customer whose order you carry sees your location and an arrival estimate on their tracking page (and, when available, in the UFORIQ app), only from pickup until delivery.
  • Some stores hide their location from customers. Near those stores, customers do not see you within about 1 mile of the store.
  • Google receives your location to estimate arrival times and to draw the customer's tracking map.
  • When you check an ID, the App adds your last known location to the check. It does not ask again for this.
  • Your location while you carry an order is kept with that delivery's record for 3 years. Other location points from your shifts are deleted after 90 days.
  • You can turn location off at any time in your phone's settings.

Camera

The App uses the camera only to read a customer's ID at the door (see "Checking IDs at the Door"). It never saves a photo, and it has no access to your photo library.

Face ID and Your Phone's Lock

The App can ask you to unlock it with Face ID, Touch ID, your fingerprint or your phone's passcode when it opens and after 5 minutes in the background. Your phone does the check. The App only learns whether it passed. We never receive your face or fingerprint data. If your phone has no passcode or biometrics set up, the App opens without this lock.

Calls and Messages

  • Calls: when you tap Call, Twilio rings your phone from the store's number, then connects the customer. Neither of you sees the other's number. If the customer calls the store number back during an open delivery, the call can be forwarded to you the same way. Calls are not recorded. Our call log keeps the direction, time, length and outcome, but no phone numbers.
  • Your phone number: only admins can see it. We use it to contact you about your work and to connect your calls.
  • Order chats: the customer sees your first name and your messages, and you see the customer's first name. Staff at your store can read and write in order chats as "UFORIQ".
  • Chats with UFORIQ staff: staff who can message drivers at your stores see your private chat. Staff can see when you read their messages and announcements.
  • Reports: customers and drivers can report a message in an order chat. Reports go to admins.
  • Phone assistant: our main phone line may be answered by a virtual assistant that uses Anthropic's Claude. When a customer asks about an order, it can tell them your first name, the order status and an arrival estimate, and it can connect them to you through the store number. It never has your phone number.

Pay and Payouts

  • We work out your pay from your deliveries: delivery fees, tips, busy-time bonuses, one-time bonuses and paid failed attempts. You see your own pay in the Earnings tab. Admins see everyone's pay. Dispatchers can see bonuses given to drivers at their stores. Customer support cannot see pay.
  • Admins can export a pay report with each driver's name, ID and pay totals. Today we use it to pay drivers through Square Payroll, which handles payroll under its own privacy policy.
  • When we turn on payouts through Stripe, our payout partner, you can set up payouts in the App. Stripe's page opens inside the App. Stripe asks for your legal name, date of birth, Social Security number (for your 1099 tax form) and a bank account or debit card. To confirm who you are, Stripe may also ask for a photo of your driver's license or state ID, your full Social Security number, or a document showing your home address. You give these to Stripe on Stripe's page.
  • We never see your Social Security number, date of birth, ID photo, or full bank or card number.
  • When we create your Stripe account, we send Stripe your name, phone number and our ID for you. Stripe tells us whether your account is ready, what it still needs, the name and last 4 digits of your bank or card, and the status of each payout. We keep records of transfers, payouts and instant cash-outs, with their amounts and fees, while you work with us and for 12 years after your account is closed.
  • Drivers are independent contractors, and Stripe sends your 1099 tax form. Stripe's privacy policy is at https://stripe.com/privacy.

Checking IDs at the Door

Our customers must be 21 or older and show a valid government photo ID at the door. Orders are never left at the door. Before you can hand over an order, the App checks two things:

  • that the customer's age was verified online for the order. Our age verification provider, AgeChecker.Net, does this for the store, and the App only receives the result.
  • that the ID shown at the door is 21 or older, not expired, and in the name on the order.

The App reads the ID electronically to verify the customer's age and that the ID has not expired. You can check the ID in three ways:

  • Scan ID barcode: the camera reads the barcode on the back of a driver's license or state ID. No picture is taken.
  • Scan passport: the App takes a picture of the passport page or passport card about once a second, reads the printed lines at the bottom on the phone, and deletes each picture from memory right away. The pictures are never saved or sent.
  • Enter details by hand, when the camera cannot read the ID: the name, date of birth, expiration date and type of ID. A dispatcher is alerted to review the check.

What is sent and what is kept:

  • The App sends what it read to our server over an encrypted connection: the barcode text, the printed passport lines, or the typed details. Barcode text can include the name, address, date of birth and ID number. The server uses it once to confirm the check and then discards it. We never store or log it.
  • We keep: the time, the driver, the place where the check was done, whether the ID showed 21 or older, was not expired and matched the order name, whether the check passed, how the ID was checked, and the type of ID. After 3 years, we delete the place of the check. The result (pass or fail), how the ID was checked, the type of ID and any recipient's relationship stay with the delivery record.
  • We never keep a picture of the ID, the ID number, the date of birth, or the name or address on the ID.
  • If someone else at the address receives the order, such as a spouse or roommate, you confirm you are at the delivery address and choose their relationship to the customer. We keep the relationship, not their name.
  • Only an admin can override a failed check, with a written reason. We keep the reason with the delivery record and delete it after 3 years.

Information About Customers in the App

To deliver an order, the App shows you the customer's full name (for the ID check), the delivery address, the door pin they chose, delivery notes, the items, the delivery fee, tip and total, and the delivery window. In chat you see the customer's first name.

The App never shows you a customer's phone number or email address. Calls go through the store number.

Use customer information only to deliver their order. Do not copy, photograph or share it, and do not contact customers outside the App.

Customers' information is handled under the UFORIQ Privacy Policy at uforiqdelivery.com/policies/privacy-policy. Customer contact details and street addresses are removed from delivery records 3 years after the delivery ends (see "Security and Retention of Your Information").

Notifications

  • The App asks to send notifications from a card inside the App, never when you first open it.
  • Drivers get notifications about orders assigned to them, order changes and cancellations, chat messages, messages and announcements from UFORIQ staff, busy-time bonuses, and payouts. Staff also get notifications, such as messages from drivers, refunds waiting for approval and payout alerts.
  • Notifications travel through Apple (iPhone and iPad) or Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (Android). A message notification can show the order number and up to 120 characters of the message on your lock screen. Payout notifications never show bank digits.
  • You can turn off notifications for staff messages and announcements in Settings. Chats on your own deliveries always notify you. You can turn off all notifications in your phone's settings.
  • The App does not send you marketing.

Your Privacy Choices in the App

  • Location: allow it always, only while using the App, or start a shift without it. You can change this at any time in your phone's settings.
  • Notifications: turn them on from the card in the App. Turn off staff messages and announcements in Settings, or all notifications in your phone's settings.
  • Camera: needed only to scan IDs. Without it, you can type the ID details by hand.
  • Unlock: the App follows your phone's Face ID, fingerprint and passcode settings.
  • Navigation app: choose Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze. When you start navigation, the App opens that app with the drop-off point, and that app handles it under its own privacy policy.
  • Sign out: Settings, then Sign out, ends your shift, stops location sharing, and removes your sign-in and cached information from the phone.
  • Request account deletion: Settings, then Request account deletion, sends your request to info@uforiqdelivery.com by email (see "How to Delete Your Account and Data").

How We Use Your Personal Information

  • Running deliveries. We use your information to assign and track orders, show progress to stores and customers, estimate arrival times, connect calls and chats, and check IDs.
  • Age and ID compliance. We use ID check results to make sure every order goes to an adult 21 or older, and to keep a record of each check.
  • Paying you. We use your delivery and pay records to work out your earnings, bonuses and failed-attempt pay, send payouts and cash-outs, and keep pay records.
  • Security and fraud prevention. We use sign-in codes, device lists and audit records to protect accounts, investigate problems with a delivery, and hold a payout for review, for example after a bank account change.
  • Communicating with you. We send notifications, messages and announcements.
  • Running and improving the Services, and meeting our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Cookies and Tracking

The App does not use cookies or other tracking technologies for advertising or analytics. When Stripe's pages open inside the App, Stripe may use its own cookies under its own policy. Stripe's setup page opens in a private browser session that does not share cookies with your phone's browser. Our staff dashboard keeps staff signed in by storing a sign-in key in the web browser.

How We Disclose Personal Information

We disclose personal information only as described in this policy:

  • Within UFORIQ: with staff at your stores and with admins, as described above, and with UFORIQ HUB LLC as needed to sell, prepare and support orders.
  • With customers: your first name, your location from pickup to delivery, an arrival estimate, and your chat messages.
  • With service providers who work for us: Cloudflare (hosting, database and server logs), Apple (notifications and maps), Google (Android notifications, maps and arrival estimates), Twilio (calls and our phone line), Anthropic (the virtual phone assistant), Klaviyo (customer emails and notifications, which can include your first name), Stripe (payouts) and Square (payroll).
  • When you choose: with the navigation app you open, and with Stripe when you set up payouts.
  • In connection with a business transaction such as a merger or bankruptcy, to comply with the law (including subpoenas, search warrants and similar requests), to enforce our terms, and to protect the Services, our rights, and the rights of others.

We require our service providers to use your information only to provide their services to us and to protect it at least as well as this policy does. Stripe and Square also handle some information under their own privacy policies.

We do not sell personal information collected through the App, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.

Third Party Websites and Links

The App opens some pages and apps run by other companies: Stripe's setup page and Express Dashboard, Apple Maps, Google Maps and Waze. They handle your information under their own privacy policies and terms. We are not responsible for their privacy or security practices.

Children and Our Age Rules

The App is only for adults who work with us. Drivers must be 21 or older. The App is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through it.

If you get the App from an app store, the store may tell us your age range, as Texas law requires. We use it only to confirm you are an adult and delete it after the check.

Our customers must be 21 or older. Drivers check a government photo ID at every delivery. The App blocks the handover when the ID is under 21 or expired, unless an admin overrides the check with a written reason.

Security and Retention of Your Information

We protect your information with these measures:

  • The App talks to our servers only over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
  • Sign-in codes work once and expire after 24 hours. We store them only in scrambled (hashed) form.
  • Your sign-in keys are kept in your phone's secure storage. Access expires every 15 minutes and is renewed in the background.
  • Admins can sign out any device. Deactivating an account signs out all of its devices.
  • Dispatchers and customer support see only the stores they work with.
  • Our server logs record IDs and codes, not names, addresses, phone numbers, chat text or ID details.

No security measures are perfect, and we cannot guarantee perfect security.

How long we keep information:

  • Your location while carrying an order: 3 years, with that delivery's record.
  • Other location points from your shifts: 90 days.
  • Order chats with customers: 3 years, as part of the delivery record.
  • Private chats between you and UFORIQ staff, and announcements: 2 years.
  • Call logs: 3 years if tied to a delivery, otherwise 90 days.
  • Phone assistant transcripts: 30 days.
  • Delivery records: we keep these for 3 years because Texas hemp rules require records for at least that long. 3 years after the delivery ends, we delete the customer's name, phone number, email address, street address, ZIP code, map points and notes, the place where the ID was checked, and the reasons typed for a failed or cancelled delivery or an override. After that, the record keeps the order number, store, city, items, amounts and status, the ID check result, how the ID was checked, the type of ID and any recipient's relationship, and your pay for that delivery, which follows the rule for your account and pay records below.
  • Your account and pay records (earnings, tips, bonuses, payouts, cash-outs, pay reports): we keep them while you work with us and for 12 years after your account is closed (deactivated). Then we make them anonymous and delete the bank or card name and last 4 digits we kept.
  • Your shifts: 3 years after the shift ends.
  • Deleted information may stay in our hosting provider's backups for a short time.

How to Delete Your Account and Data

You can ask us to delete your account and personal information in any of these ways: in the App, go to Settings and tap "Request account deletion", which sends your request to info@uforiqdelivery.com by email; email info@uforiqdelivery.com; or call 512-337-3988. To protect you, we may confirm the request with you first, for example through your chat with UFORIQ in the App.

  • When you stop working with us, an admin deactivates your account. This signs out every device and stops notifications. It does not delete your records. We keep your account and pay records for 12 years after it is closed. Then we make them anonymous and delete the bank or card name and last 4 digits we kept.
  • When you ask us to delete your data, we delete what we do not need to keep. We keep the records we need for tax, accounting, legal and safety reasons, such as pay and delivery records, for the periods listed above.
  • If you have a Stripe account for payouts, Stripe keeps its own records under its privacy policy.
  • Deleting the App removes what it stored on your phone, but it does not delete your account.

We respond to every request within 45 days.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the rights below. These rights are not absolute, and we may decline a request as the law allows.

  • Right to Access / Know: you may ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, and how we use and share it.
  • Right to Delete: you may ask us to delete personal information we hold about you.
  • Right to Correct: you may ask us to correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Right of Portability: you may ask for a copy of your personal information, and ask us to send it to someone else, in some cases.
  • Restriction of Processing: you may ask us to stop or limit how we use your personal information.
  • Withdrawal of Consent: where we rely on your consent, such as for location access, you may withdraw it.
  • Appeal: you may appeal if we decline your request, by replying to our decision.

You can use these rights by contacting us with the details below. We will not discriminate against you for using them. We may need to confirm your identity first. You may name an authorized agent to make a request for you. We will ask the agent for proof that you authorized them, and we may ask you to confirm your identity with us directly.

Your Choices About Your Information

We give every driver and staff member these choices, whether or not a privacy law requires it. You can ask us to:

  • confirm whether we process your personal data, and access it;
  • correct inaccuracies in your personal data;
  • delete personal data you provided or that we obtained about you;
  • give you a copy of your personal data in a portable format, where technically feasible; and
  • not sell your personal data, use it for targeted advertising, or use it for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. We do none of these with personal data from the App.

We use your precise location only to run deliveries and to keep delivery and ID check records. You choose whether to allow location access, and you can turn it off at any time.

To make a request, email info@uforiqdelivery.com or call 512-337-3988. We respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we may extend that once by another 45 days and will tell you why. Requests are free up to twice a year. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision or by emailing info@uforiqdelivery.com with the subject "Privacy appeal". We will answer your appeal within 60 days.

Complaints

If you have a complaint about how we handle your personal information, please contact us using the details below. If you are not satisfied with our answer, depending on where you live, you may appeal our decision or contact your local data protection authority.

International Users

The App is meant for our delivery operations in Texas, in the United States. Our service providers may store and process information in other countries.
